Jordan first picked up a camera at 10 years old and has always had one on hand ever since. He started making short videos in the driveway with friends, and by the age of 13 began shifting his attention towards ski films. Throughout high school Jordan's involvement in filming action sports and other various projects grew. After finishing high school he went to post secondary school for business. That year he teamed up with long-time friend Keelan Bourdon to found Apex Multimedia. Jordan has since completed his diploma in Marketing at Okanagan College.
Keelan has had a passion for creating ever since he first picked up a camera at 8 years old. From there, his creativity drove him into creating short films with his friends, as well as showcasing his friends skateboarding online. Keelan’s enthusiasm in filmmaking accelerated though, as he found the ever progressing technology involved in cinematography, as well as the stories that can be told throughout the medium of film, to be extremely intriguing. After high school, Keelan paired up with fellow creative Jordan Strobel and founded Apex Multimedia. Today, the two strive to create the same films that inspired them when they were young.
WHO WE ARE
Apex Multimedia was founded in January 2016 by Jordan Strobel and Keelan Bourdon. The two have been filming for over 10 years each, bringing an in depth understanding of the creative process. In addition, they are a fully certified drone operation team. Having a standing flight certificate from Transport Canada for all of British Columbia means that Apex Multimedia can operate in a variety of situations across the province with ease.
